• Part of the refurbishment requirements to the Hydro Majestic Hotel was to achieve fire separation between rooms and floors.

• Due to the high profile heritage nature of the building, retaining as many of the original heritage features and charm was key to the successful upgrade of the building.

• The CAP508 system was utilised to achieve the fire rating requirements to hotel rooms, hallways and ballrooms. Existing substrates could be retained while still achieving the extremely high standard of finish required of such an iconic 5 star hotel.
