Fire Rating: Improve early fire hazard properties

• Preserving the timber profile in this heritage property was of high importance while still achieving a high level of fire resistance to the “at risk” areas.

• The CAP508 system applied in a thin film application by airless spray allows for a tested efficient, high finish solution to improving the early fire hazard properties of timber surfaces.

• The thin film paint application allows for the texture  and character of the original timber to be retained, avoiding fire rated linings but still achieving class leading flame spread, ignition, heat release and smoke release ratings on timber.
