• Certification of new building construction required an urgent fire rating solution to new plasterboard. Ceilings were required to achieve AS1530.4 fire separation requirements in this Melbourne new apartment block project.

• The CAP508 system was utilised to achieve a solution that met the builders requirements. Alternatives involved replacement of new ceilings with fire rated plasterboard.

• The high level of expertise from CAP Coatings’s recognised applicators allowed for a cost effective solution achieving both a high level of finish and an efficient solution which allowed the project to stay on track and meet its tight construction completion timeline.
